The Founder, Amanda Bradford, is a Stanford MBA (ex-Google, ex-Salesforce) with a strong product sense (engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon) and a fierce determination to change the dating space for the better. The League is live in 55 US and 5 international cities, brings in healthy, growing revenue each month, and has a growing waitlist in large international metros waiting for their city launch!
The League is looking for an enthusiastic, curious Product Specialist with a passion for technology that can sit between product and customer support. A successful candidate will create and oversee a process that ensures customer needs are translated into recommendations for the product team. S/he will have a demonstrated ability to work cross functionally, listen and synthesize and produce detailed specifications from a variety of inputs.
The Product Specialist will report to our Head of Product and be based in San Francisco.
Become an expert on The League product. Learn to model backend, frontend and internal tool workflows.
Translate customer needs into detailed recommendations to be prioritized for the product and engineering roadmap
Be the highest level of support -- document, triage and log bugs that are elevated from Customer Support
Produce technical guides, best practices document and other content for the product and engineering team
Provide analytical support when writing specs, draw insights from our data to persuade the next generation of product features
BS in Computer science, Information Systems or related field
Two or more years experience in technical support, product testing or QA preferred
Strong demonstrated empathy for our users with a deep desire to catalogue and understand the most top of mind problems
Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude with a strong sense of product quality and a bias towards action
Demonstrated proficiency with SQL with an ability to analyze and drive insights from our data to support prioritization of customer issues
