Chapter Managers are the lifeline of Next Gen in cities/on campuses across the country - and potentially around the world.
They’re our local leaders, ambassadors, and best friends. They are brilliant people who care about what’s going on locally and want to get involved. Their job is, at a core level, to create community and impact lives.
Chapter Managers can be college students, business owners, or dropouts - we’re not picky, because we know that people from all backgrounds share our value of creating community. Perhaps you’ve already started forming your ‘tribe’ and want to grow it further; or, you’re looking to establish yourself as a local leader. Maybe you’ve relocated to a new town/school and would love to build from the ground-up. There’s no age, degree, or experience requirement - just a willingness to help, desire to hustle, and a commitment to the well being of others.
Chapter Managers will be coordinating events, holding 1:1 discussions with members, refining local resources, and more - all while growing their own individual networks and reputations.
Chapter Manager activities include:
Connecting 1:1 with local members through Coffee Chats and Office Hours, showing up to support members when need be.
Curating a pool of helpful, local resources young entrepreneurs should know about.
Hosting monthly meet-ups, ranging from dinners to networking events.
Leading a bi-annual speaker event, inviting both chapter members and folks who may have a desire to join the community.
Bridging your chapter to the larger Next Gen Community, driving membership and event participation.
Celebrating your local community by creating both written and video content featuring your members and chapter.
