About NASA iTech:

NASA iTech searches for and identifies advancements in technologies, NOT already funded by NASA, that are solving problems on Earth and have the potential to address existing challenges to enable NASA missions.

NASA leads the way in the scientific discovery of Earth, other worlds and the cosmos. Advancing new technologies in aeronautics and space systems, NASA's missions expand the frontiers of human experience and allow American industry to cultivate a growing space marketplace.

Through NASA iTech, we reach beyond traditional partnerships into early, independent innovation. NASA iTech helps us identify the innovations we will need in the future (and the people behind them). We connect innovators with investors who can help propel them forward, and industry leaders who can partner or invest in the technologies.

The Opportunity:

Are you an entrepreneur developing a technology that is addressing a real-world problem?  Have you thought about how that technology may also be a potential solution for some of NASA’s challenges?  Don’t miss this opportunity to pitch your technology in your own community at Ignite the Night, a NASA iTech event near you.

We know that innovation takes place everywhere — in all corners of the globe. In 2020, we are creating more opportunities to connect with innovators and enthusiasts directly. To that end, the NASA iTech team is hosting Ignite the Night events in a few select communities in the U.S., inviting innovators and enthusiasts to come meet NASA, learn about the NASA iTech program, apply to participate, and for those selected, present your idea on stage to an esteemed panel of NASA technologists, industry experts, and investors.

Submit your idea now to be considered for selection as one of the 10 presenters that will be giving their best pitch at the upcoming Ignite the Night.  The top presenter selected will earn a position as one of the top 25 Semifinalists for the current NASA iTech Cycle, ensuring your technology will be evaluated by NASA’s Center Chief Technologists and increasing your chances of being selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists to present at the 2020 Cycle I Forum.
