“Now in its 4th year, i.Invest has helped to showcase the innovative ideas of young entrepreneurs across the country regardless of their GPA, school or program affiliation and geographical location. Winners receive a share of $10K in cash and in-kind prizes; mentoring from business leaders from companies including Microsoft, USDA, and Coca-Cola; social media promotion; and on-going access to the i.Invest community. Application submission starts March 1 and ends May 1. The application fee is $29; fee waivers are available for youth from underserved communities.

Currently, we are looking for 2019 applicants as well as judges. Judges must be a business professional, investor, serial entrepreneur and/or academic leader. Judges will be required to commit to scoring concept profiles, business plans and pitch videos during three rounds starting May 15 and ending in October. All scores are collected via an online application submission platform and can be accessed from any computer, smartphone or tablet at anytime. Select judges will be invited to host virtual group training sessions in July and one-on-one mentoring with assigned applicants. The time requirements for scoring each online application averages 30-45 minutes. Judges will score no more than 15 applications per round and have up to 30-45 days to complete all scorecards.

If you are passionate about nurturing the next generation of business leaders and have at least five years experience in your respective field, please respond or send me an email at mjackson@i-Investcompetition.com by January 31.
