Our platform allows companies to seamlessly book fully-customizable, multi-vendor gatherings for their employees in just a few clicks. From smoothie stations to happy hours, team building and even the yearly holiday party, our catalog contains over 1300 experiences (and growing weekly) to support our customers’ desire for fresh and fun ideas.
We currently work with over 200 companies in NYC such as Google, Facebook, Spotify and many other startups, firms and agencies. We are looking to put together an A-player team consisting of individuals who are first and foremost great, kind humans - and then quick learners, team players and super fun to work with.
Confetti is currently hiring a full-time lead account manager to join their team! This role will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction before, during, and after Confetti events and going above and beyond for stakeholders.
We're looking for an Account Manager with strong events and/or operations experience. This position will require you to own client-vendor communications, onboard new clients, communicate with third-party vendors, and - most importantly - ensure our clients have a great time at their event. You will be working directly with the CEO & CTO of Confetti, along with our growing team. You’re the right candidate if you are extremely proactive and self-motivated, and have a strong drive for customer service and ongoing interest in operational efficiencies. Our goal is to evolve this role to develop scalable best-practices within Account Management and ideally train a growing team to follow suit.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after their Confetti events
Be the kind, charismatic and energetic face of Confetti while speaking with clients via phone, email, and occasionally in person
Research opportunities and provide suggestions for new clients and events, including future upselling opportunities
Produce detailed client proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets as required per event
Oversee project deliverables, budget, and timelines to ensure client expectations are met, and communicate any obstacles or opportunities in a timely and professional manner
Source and share client feedback on vendor performance via both pre- and post-event evaluations
Communicate with vendors on event details and occasionally research, contact and negotiate with new suppliers.
Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget
Document and define Processes and Operations for future Account Managers, and manage and train Data Entry team.
Plan and Execute Growth Strategies with CEO & CTO, including market research and identifying event opportunities
Communicate potential product suggestions: new features, UX adjustment, client requests, etc.
Communicate any operational inefficiencies to the tech team
Proactively communicate opportunities for improvement within the company - we are ever-changing and evolving, and as a member of our startup, your creativity will impact the long-term success of the organization
What You’ll Bring:
2+ years of experience in a client-facing account management role
2+ years of experience and a personal passion for organizing events
Experience in project management or operations experience preferred
Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, and a habit of being personable and friendly
Problem-solving skills and diplomacy
Time-management skills and a high level of comfort while working under pressure to reach deadlines
Flexible schedule with occasionally long hours; some events may be scheduled before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM, depending on client needs
Self-motivation, a high degree of Emotional Intelligence, and overall love for life and people
