Next Gen Summit FAQ’s

How do tickets work? I have a group of friends/colleagues/co-founders who want to attend with me. Do we all need to apply, or is one application enough?


If accepted, you’ll be invited to purchase a Next Gen Summit 2019 ticket, either a General Summit or a VIP Experience with additional networking opportunities. Ticket costs range from $199-$399, and include all three days of programming: Office Hours, open networking, the PITCH! application, multiple speaker tracks, refreshments, after parties, Themed Dinners, and more. Note: prices increase on March 15th and May 1st.


Next Gen is committed to ensuring the Summit experience is available to the entrepreneurs who most deserve the opportunity. For those with financial difficulty who cannot afford a Summit pass, Next Gen offers a robust scholarship program, which can be accessed after a potential acceptance.

What is the difference between a General Summit Pass and the VIP Experience?

The VIP Experience at NGS includes the Summit Experience (three full days of programming), plus: VIP Private Networking Session (*$250 value*), Premium Mentor Selection, Premium Private Talks selection, expedited 'NGS PITCH!' review, and reserved seating.


What is PITCH!? How do I apply?

PITCH! is Next Gen Summit’s pitch competition. Only participants who have already secured their Summit pass may apply. In May, our team will notify all applicants of their PITCH! application status. Regardless of your acceptance to PITCH!, all Next Gen Summit participants will have the opportunity to meet with investors attending the Summit through our Office Hours program.

What do I do if I cannot afford to attend Next Gen Summit? Do you offer student discounts or scholarships?

We understand starting up is hard. If you are experiencing substantial financial difficulty precluding your attendance, please contact applications@NGSummit.com with the subject line ‘Scholarship Inquiry.’

When should I arrive in NYC?

We recommend arriving no later than Friday afternoon on June 7th to ensure your presence at our Kick-Off Party on Friday evening.

Are travel and accommodations included in my ticket price?

No. All participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodations. Next Gen Summit participants frequently share accommodations across NYC.



If I’m unable to attend the Summit, can I receive a refund?

Before May 7, 2019, the Next Gen team will honor full-refunds with no questions asked. Within the 30-day period leading up to Next Gen Summit, refund requests can be submitted to applications@NGSummit.com to be considered on a case-by-case basis to account for extenuating circumstances.


Do you sell one-day passes?

No. Next Gen Summit is a multi-day event.


I need a visa to attend - can NGS help me get one?

While Next Gen will not directly communicate with your embassy, we can happily provide you with an official invitation letter to submit with your request. Please contact applications@NGSummit.com to request an invitation letter.


What is the recommended attire for Next Gen Summit?

There’s no official dress code, so wear what makes you comfortable and shows your best self. Suit, t-shirt, button down, company hoodie - it’s all good, and you’ll find dozens of fellow participants sporting each.


When is the registration deadline for Next Gen Summit?

Next Gen Summit 2019 will welcome a cohort of 1,000+ entrepreneurs. Registration will remain open until our tickets are sold out. Be sure to secure your pass early to secure your spot.
